With the internet, you can surf madly, not knowing what you're going to find. But at least you're following a thread. You've had a taste. Some idea of where your spiral is going.

On TV, you just push the button and it's like Russian Roulette. You simply don't know what you're going to see next. Especially on Larry goddamn King.

Someone has painted this Homeric image into a field just adjacent to an ancient fertility symbol favored by pagans. They're pissed. (The image looks to me like Homer is playing ring toss to the wood the big guy's sporting.)
