Gail took this shot yesterday as I sharpened a tool in my 'studio space.' I've told people about it and 'studio' seems to evoke an ideal. It is, unfortunately, not an artsy looking space. Dirty place. Asbestos. Sharp things. Fire hazards. But I like it.

This from friend Ocker Jones who works for the telco in Western Australia: "I just got out of Karratha last night before the town was put on red alert for this category 4 cyclone. Some time yesterday it was a cat 5, but they hope it gets a bit weaker before it hits sometime today. I love the way it looks like it's dragging cloud up from the Antarctic, past NZ and Tasmania."

Female sheep are called ewes, males are called rams, and young sheep are called lambs. The adjective applying to sheep is ovine and the collective terms for sheep are flock and mob. The term herd is also occasionally used in this sense.
