Gathering of the Governors

The Northwest Parkinson's Foundation made a big ol' conference a la dia.

Shot for 400, it went to 500...ended up with 600+ people. Today was a day waaay beyond planned. And changed what Parkinson's symposia are supposed to be.

Lots of people deserve props. Lots. And a whole buncha people with the PD now know stuff they never thought they'd ever know.

I was just the MC. Yo. Yo. I meeted, and I greeted, and I introduced the Govs.

Current Gov Gregoire opened, then two-term Gov. Locke (who duffed - I read his statement), then three-term Gov. Evans, then two-term Gov. Booth G. did this... thing. Never a dull moment it is said.

I followed his denuding with an appropriate slapshot which brought great hilarity. The vid from King5 simply shoes B-dog stripping off. We miss the punchline. But Booth topless? Well, worth the stodgy King5 video...
... which isn't going to work. Too bad.

If you go to www.king5.com you might find it there. But that will probably go cold as quick as all the other news does.

Just know that Governor Booth Gardner loves us enough to rip his shirt off in front of 600 people to promote the cause. And the man doesn't look bad for 70!

After the storm

The last couple of days: horizontal 30 and 40 mph torrential rain. Most unpleasant. Today, well, today is the other side of the front. (Is that the back?)
