Labels of Mexico

When we provisioned for our sailing trip in La Paz, we went to the CCC which is sort of the Mexico Costco. Our tactic was simple: four men, two carts, and we just started throwing stuff into the carts that looked like it might be suitable. We ended up spending $100 each, including beer, vodka, and scotch.

The most remarkable thing was that we pulled back into dock after seven days with a pineapple, a package of tortillas, a dozen limes, and 20 ounces (of the 24 bought) of hot sauce left over. Not much else - but we also didn't ever go wanting.

These two labels off of food leapt out as me as blogable. Oddly, they were both on chorizo.

Usually the marketers make their packaging with happy animals (e.g., Charlie Tuna), so we lose our guilt. This one, however, is happy in the hottub in which he is being prepared to be ground up into Very Special Chorizo.
