Reports: Bush authorized NSA to spy in U.S.

I get smirked at for being such a paranoiac ("if you've got nothing to hide, this shouldn't matter"). But it matters. And it's embarrassing how many people don't understand why it does.

Bush doesn't understand what he's doing for his evil overlord. (link)

Washington Post: "The law governing clandestine surveillance in the United States, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, prohibits conducting electronic surveillance not authorized by statute. A government agent can try to avoid prosecution if he can show he was "engaged in the course of his official duties and the electronic surveillance was authorized by and conducted pursuant to a search warrant or court order of a court of competent jurisdiction," according to the law."

Casa sweet casa

Back from Mexico. So many mild little tales to tell.

It was a very moderate vacation. 90 people attended the wedding from all over the US (and other places). Aside from six singles from Aspen who were very close friends, I was kind of on my own. It made for early evenings - in by 10 most all of them. And just a lot of healthy doing little and enjoying the carcinogens pouring down from the center of our galaxy.

I may write more soon. I've got some catching up to do. But here are a few photos...

This was a common sight. Aqui esta una viaje a la Troncones por el Surfin Safari.

Teri, Andreas, Jan and Bill spent many, many hours right here. I visited once in a while.
