I am done reading the news for a while. It clouds my reality. It is Karl Rove. And other people behaving badly. It is drought or torrent. Pain and judgement. Religious absolute-ism. Bounced checks in the morality accounts.
But I'm sure it'll be better news by Saturday - I'll probably start reading again then.

Amen to that, brother. I sometimes wish someone would kidnap me just to keep me away from the damn news for a week or two. As long as the kidnappers are svelte young blond girls, that is. Who cook Ethiopian food. Or, em, something like that.
