Truth or Die

Bush reveals plot to fly jet into LA tower (he’s lying)

A PLOT to use bombs hidden in shoes to breach the cockpit door of a plane and fly it into the tallest building in Los Angeles after the 9/11 attacks was thwarted by the United States and its allies, George Bush revealed yesterday.

"The plot was derailed in early 2002 when a south-east Asian nation arrested a key al-Qaeda operative," he said in a speech at the National Guard Memorial Building in Washington. He said the intended target was the ‘Liberty Tower’ though he apparently meant the ‘Library Tower’ which is now referred to as the ‘US Bank Tower.’

The Mayor of Los Angeles was surprised that he had not heard of these details until today.

Venezuela's Chavez Calls Bush 'Madman' (he’s nuts, but telling the truth)

CARACAS, Venezuela — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez unleashed more cricism toward President Bush Thursday and accused the United States and Britain of planning to invade Iran.

Chavez, a sharp critic of the U.S.-led war in Iraq, gave no evidence for his allegations. Chavez frequently refers to Bush as "Mr. Danger" and has accused him of being "the greatest terrorist in the world."

The Venezuelan leader also said British Prime Minister Tony Blair has teamed up with Bush in a confrontation with Venezuela.

"He's the madman's unconditional and subordinate ally, and now he also came out shooting against us," said Chavez.

Abramoff says he met Bush "almost a dozen" times (telling the truth)

Bush says he does not remember meeting Abramoff, ever. (He's lying. There are a bunch of pictures.)
